Governor Parson’s Schedule for August 28 – September 1
(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) – Next week, Governor Mike Parson will hold several ceremonial bill signings and attend various events.
On Monday, August 28, Governor Parson will start the day with a ceremonial signing of Senate Bill (SB) 25, which provides federal broadband grants and an income tax deductions for broadband grants to Missourians, in his office. He will then ceremonially sign several other legislative items throughout the day.
On Tuesday, August 29, Governor Parson will hold a ceremonial bill signing for (SB) 138 in West Plains. He will then attend the grand opening of Maplewood Villas in Springfield. Governor Parson will then travel to St. Louis to ceremonially sign (HB) 2 at Marquette High School and (SB) 94 at Gateway Studios.
On Wednesday, August 30, Governor Parson will attend the ribbon cutting for Medline Healthcare’s new distribution center in St. Peters. He will then travel to Fort Zumwalt East High School to participate in a ceremonial signing of (HB) 2. Governor Parson will then travel to Bonne Terre for a ceremonial signing of (HB) 402. He will then travel to Caruthersville for a ribbon cutting ceremony at New Day with former State Senator Doug Libla. He will end the day at the Fisher Delta Research Appreciation Dinner in Gobler.
OnThursday, August 31, Governor Parson will attend the Fisher Delta Research Appreciation Breakfast in Portageville. He will then travel back to Jefferson City to ceremonially sign several legislative items in his office.
He will then attend a recognition ceremony celebrating the passage of Missouri’s new Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) law at the University of Missouri’s first football game of the season.
