Suspect arrested for murder after death of former Joplin resident
A suspect has been arrested in the disappearance and death of a former Joplin resident.
60-year-old Glen Canyon Lee Hunt was taken into custody Friday morning by the Pagosa Springs Police and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
He being held on a $50,000 bond, for second-degree murder in connection to the disappearance and death of Michael Kroll.
Kroll was first reported missing from the Pagosa Springs, Colorado, area on October 19, 2021.
His remains were later located in a remote area of La Plata County on September 25, 2022.The Pagosa Springs Police.
Kroll had moved to Colorado from Joplin just a short time before being reported missing.
