Baxter Springs garment manufacturing plant closing

It’s been in operation since 1937 in Baxter Springs Kansas as a garment manufacturing plant.  

It was known for many years as the King Louie plant.  

Then in January of last year, National Safety Apparel company purchased the factory.  

It was announced this week that it will cease operations on September 29th leaving around 60 employees without a job.
