Newton County Missouri Elections today

The polls are open in Newton County elections until 7 tonight.  

All of the Newton County Road Districts are asking for a continuation of the road tax used to maintain and improve roads.  This is voted on every 4 years.  

Loma Linda is voting to collect a local sales tax on vehicles bought out of state.  

Newtonia is asking for a one percent sales tax.  

Seneca is voting to place a 3 percent sales tax on retail sales of marijuana sold in the city.
