Motorcycle rider hits deer in McDonald County roadway
Cyclist suffers serious injuries
A deer caused an accident on a road in McDonald County early this morning (Tuesday).
The Missouri Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Brendan R. Jensen of Apollo Beach, Florida was riding his Honda motorcycle on Route E five miles south of Powell in McDonald County around 6:51 a.m. when he struck a deer in the roadway.
Jensen suffered serious injuries in the accident.
He was wearing a helmet.
He was taken by ambulance to a Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas.
