Man drowns in Grand Lake after falling out of boat Saturday
Body recovered this morning.
The body of a man who fell into Grand Lake on Saturday and did not resurface has been recovered, according to the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA).
The man reportedly has been identified as 47-year-old Daniel Siebert of Wichita.
The body was recovered in seven feet of water at approximately 7:30 a.m. today (Sunday, July 23),
Witnesses reported that they saw a male fall out of a boat in the Duck Creek area on Grand Lake.
They also said it appeared the boat hit the man after he went into the water.
The boat then continued to circle until officers responded and got the boat under control.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
