162 new student doctors take part in “White Coat Ceremony”
The KCU-Joplin Medical School held its “White Coat Ceremony” over the weekend at Joplin High School Performing Arts Center Saturday morning.
A total of 162 students received their white coats.
Twelve of those students were admitted through the Missouri Southern KCU Early Acceptance program (M-KEAP).
The featured speaker was the chief medical officer of the Kansas City Health Department and KCU assistant professor of primary care, Dr. Benjamin Grin.
The new student doctors are members of the class of 2027.
