ATV accident near Butler kills woman

There’s been another ATV accident in Missouri – this time resulting in a death.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says one woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash that occurred just before midnight on July 8.

34-year-old Kayla Carroll of Butler was travelling south on a road just south of Highway 52 in Bates County on a Polaris ATV.

The Patrol says she ran off the left side of the roadway before striking a fence, rolling over and ejecting from the vehicle.
