Oklahoma sixth most-expensive state for energy costs

Kansas among the most affordable

A new study shows that Oklahoma is the sixth most-expensive state in the nation when it comes to energy costs.

The Wallet-Hub survey considers electricity, natural gas, motor home fuel, and home heating oil to come up with its final figures.

Okahoma’s total energy cost of $583 is only exceeded by Massachusetts, Connecticut, Alaska, North Dakota and Wyoming.

Missouri is 38th on the list, Arkansas 41st and Kansas 47th.

The cheapest place on the list is the District of Columbia.
