Former FBI analyst sentenced to federal prison for keeping classified documents at home
A former analyst with the F-B-I will spend 3 years and 10 months in federal prison without parole for keeping classified documents in her home.
50-year-old Kendra Kingsbury of Garden City, Kansas, was sentenced Wednesday – she pleaded guilty last October to 2 counts of unlawfully retaining classified information related to national defense.
Kingsbury admitted that throughout her time with the F-B-I she repeatedly took classified documents home with her, which at the time was in North Kansas City.
Some of those documents were stored in her bathtub. Authorities say some of those documents contained “extremely sensitive national defense information.”
