Ozark Center holds ribbon cutting for Hope Cottage at Turnaround Ranch
ready for permanent occupation
A ribbon cutting was held Tuesday morning at the Turnaround Ranch west of Joplin.
According to President and CEO of Freeman Health System, Paula Baker: “The Turnaround Ranch helps behaviorally disordered and emotionally disturbed youth help pursue their happiness and prepare them for a happy and prosperous life.”
The Hope Cottage can house twelve girls from age 10 through 17.
Two additional buildings are going to be built in the next couple of years.
The Turnaround Ranch is part of Freeman Health System and the Ozark Center.
