Count Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush out of the U.S. Senate race in 2024

Two Missouri Democrats have already announced plans to run for U.S. Senate in 2024. 

Bush tells reporters she is not joining the race. “I, I will not be joining,” Bush chuckles. “I will not. I’m working right here for St. Louis.”

Democrats Lucas Kunce and St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell are running for Republican Josh Hawley’s seat. 

Bush, a Democrat, tells reporters that she is considering making an endorsement in the race. 

Bush says she worked well with Republican Roy Blunt and she misses him. 

Whether Josh Hawley, a Republican, is running for reelection next year is unknown at this time.
