Man from Chicago drowns in the Lake of the Ozarks

There was a drowning in the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks reported Sunday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the body of 30-year-old Kendall Henderson of Chicago, Illinois was pulled from the Lake on this morning in Camden County

The Patrol reports that Henderson dove off a dock and began to swim away, then started to struggle in the water, went below the water and did not resurface.

Henderson was pronounced dead by the Camden County Medical Examiner.
