Missouri Department of Conservation buffalo prank
One state agency is warning residents about a prank involving buffaloes.
Some residents have received letters in the mail alerting them that a shipment of over 500 buffaloes will be arriving at your home on Thursday afternoon June 29 because the land surrounding the home has been allegedly selected as a ‘game preserve.’
The Missouri Department of Conservation says that the letter impersonating their department did not come from them.
They shared information about the letters on their social media pages Wednesday.
A spokesperson told a St. Louis TV station that the letters have been mostly arriving in mailboxes in Franklin and Wayne Counties over the past week.
It is unknown who is responsible for the letters.
