Four-states boxing star in ICU after car accident

An area boxing star is recovering from serious injuries he suffered in a car accident Wednesday night.

World Boxing News reports that Vinita, Oklahoma-native Trey Lippie Morrison is in stable condition and being treated by doctors.

His manager, Tony Holden, says Morrison spent the night in a trauma unit and was recently taken to the ICU. Holden says Morrison has a long recovery ahead of him and are asking for your thoughts and prayers.

Morrison is 18-1 in the ring with 17 knockouts.

He is the son of former world champion Tommy Morrison, who passed away in 2013.
