2 year old drowns in Table Rock Lake

STONE COUNTY, Mo. — A two-year-old child died Wednesday after a drowning incident on Table Rock Lake earlier this week.

The juvenile entered the water without a lifejacket on Monday and drowned, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. The child was pulled from the water and taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, where she later died from her injuries.

The incident occurred 7 miles north of Blue Eye. This is MSHP Troop D’s second drowning in 2023.
