Parsons resident wanted in connection with shooting incident

Late Wednesday morning,  Parsons Police were called to a report of criminal damage in that city where a man used a hatchet to destroy a vehicle. Officers say they attempted to stop Stedarrish Stefon Herman of Parsons who was seen nearby but he fled, taking off into a wooded area.

While officers were continuing the search for him, there was another call about an exchange of gun fire in another location in Parsons. It was reported that the suspect was again Stedarrish Herman, and he had fled the scene in a black Mercedes.

Multiple houses were hit with gunfire as well as an O’Reilly’s delivery vehicle and a photo business. The intended victims fired back at Herman who was reportedly hit during the exchange.

Stedarrish Herman again fled the scene leaving his sister, 26-year-old Bernia Leshay Herman of Parsons at the scene. She was transported to the Parsons police Department.
