Death of Oklahoma high school student ruled homicide
Had recently signed to play basketball at NEO in Miami
The death of a Moore, Oklahoma high school student has officially been ruled a homicide by the Oklahoma Medical Examiner.
Her former boyfriend has been charged with first degree murder and rape.
18-year-old Madeline Bills, who died last month, had recently signed a letter of intent to play women’s basketball at Northeastern A&M in Miami, Oklahoma this fall.
The Medical Examiner said she had died by strangulation and had been raped.
Bills’ ex-boyfriend, Chace Cook, was arrested in Illinois.
He has been extradited back to Oklahoma.
