Lieutenant Governor promoting Buy Missouri Program
The national Buy Missouri economic development initiative is actively being promoted, and updated, to showcase to the rest of the world just how important it is buying a product that is made, grown, or processed in Missouri.
Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe tells Newstalk KZRG… “If we keep our dollars within our state’s borders, the ripple effect on our state’s economy is much greater, and those dollars will actually rotate through our economy so much more. We, both Governor Parson and now myself taking over the program a few years ago, believe that it’s always nice to be able to do business with who your friends and neighbors work for.”
The Buy Missouri program currently has over 540 members and Kehoe is encouraging businesses across the Show-Me State to apply and join the ever-growing list.
Products must have 51% or greater Missouri content to qualify for the program.
