Safety Day today at Jasper County Sheriff’s office

Today is Safety Day at the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office at 231 S. Main Street in Carthage.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will feature grilled hamburgers and hotdogs.

Also included will be Safety Kids IDs, a bounce house, face painting, gun safety presentation, shaved ice, a SWAT demo, cadets, popcorn, D.A.R.E., and a K-9 demo.

Also, graduation for the most recent Citizen’s Academy will be featured.

Adults and children are invited to attend.
