Man’s car runs off road, hits tree Friday night

A crash on Highway 112, south of Farm Road 1135, about 4 miles south of Cassville, has resulted in injuries to a man from that community.

The accident happed just before 8 p.m. Friday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a 2005 Suzuki Boulevard driven by 63-year-old Jeffrey N. Black of Cassville failed to negotiate a curve.

The car ran off the road and hit a tree.

Black suffered serious injuries.

He was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
