Missouri’s drought conditions worsen

Missouri drought conditions are getting worse. 

It looks like 2023 could prove to be a really long year for Missouri farmers and ranchers. 

The latest U.S. Drought Monitor map for Missouri shows a worsening of dry conditions across the state. 

Extreme drought is now in the middle of the state and the other dry categories have also expanded. 

The only parts of the state not considered to have drought problems at this point are in far northwest Missouri and parts of southern and southeast Missouri
