Parsons woman arrested in connection with vehicle burglaries . . . again

When it comes to vehicle burglaries, Amanda Dawn Lockard, 41, of Parsons, Kansas has an extensive criminal record.

She has nine convictions for vehicle burglary from a 2020 case in Labette County, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections website.

Now, Lt. Jason Ludwig of the Parsons Police Department says Lockhard has been arrested again.

It happened Sunday morning after a brief foot chase.

Ludwig says Lockhard was positively identified by witnesses.

A full bag containing items from a burglarized vehicle was also located nearby.

She was transported to the Parsons Police Department without incident.
