Balloon release honors memory of crash victim

A balloon release is planned for 3:30 p.m. today [Saturday] at Petro Truck Stop at 4240 Hwy 43 in memory of 26-year-old Charles F. Richardson, Jr. of Joplin.

Richardson died in a fatal motorcycle-car collision in the area of 12th and Range Line road on April 8th.

A spokesman for the balloon release says the public is invited to the balloon release which will be attended by the Freedom of the Road riders motorcycle group.
