Tree Limb Drop-Off Site open through Friday

Did you miss out on dropping off limbs in Joplin?

The gates to the Tree Limb Drop-Off site got locked earlier than normal, according to City officials.

To help get rid of unwanted limbs, Joplin’s Public Works Department will open the Drop Off site all of this week, beginning today through Friday, April 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The drop-off site is located at 1702 N. Schifferdecker Ave., just about a half-mile north of Belle Center Road on the west side of Schifferdecker.

Another option for residents: Tree limbs and branches bundled and cut to 4-foot maximum length can also be placed curbside for pick up on residents’ trash service day.
