Driver from Neosho suffers severe injuries in accident

An accident around 11:20 this morning on Route D, about four miles east of Neosho, resulted in injuries to a motorist from that city.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car driven by 44-year-old Daniel R. Jespersen failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck two road signs.

He suffered serious injuries.

He was taken by Air Ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
