Police say card skimmer used at Carl Junction gas pump

Carl Junction Police reporting a skimmer problem at an area convenience store.  

Police say a report came in that a customer had filled up their car by using a credit card at the pump on March 22nd.   

Later that day, she was alerted by her bank that her card had been used to buy fuel in another state.  

Police state other cards had been compromised the same day.  

Carl Junction Police didn’t name the store.  

One way to protect yourself is by using a mobile wallet or the tap function if available instead of inserting your card into a reader.
