Despite the warnings of a wise old owl, they enter the enchanted forest. There, they encounter a cursed prince who has been turned to stone by Queen Malevella; a hapless poodle, Mimi, who is a minion of the queen; the legendary Dog Shouter; and finally, the terribly wicked queen herself.
