Carthage man identified as fatal fire victim

Jasper County authorities have identified the man found dead after a house fire early Thursday morning. Read the full press release below:

On March 30th at approximately 3:00 a.m., Jasper County Deputies were called to a structure fire located at 13780 Pine Road, Carthage, Missouri.

Fire Units from Jasper, Carthage, Avilla, Tri-Cities and Golden City responded to put out the fire.

During the investigation, Jason Nally, 42, of Carthage, was located in the residence deceased.

At this time it appears the death was accidental and the investigation continues.

The Missouri State Fire Marshalls Office is assisting with this investigation.
