FCC taking action against robotic scam text messages

Tired of getting scam text messages?   

The FCC has issued the first rule of its kind aimed at robotic text messages and requiring mobile service providers to block them.   

In a news release, the FCC gives ways that robotexts can be identified and then blocked.

The FCC reported just under nineteen thousand scam texting complaints in 2022.

The new rule is to take effect later this year.
