Casey’s General Store posts growing profits
A popular convenience store chain is seeing a financial windfall.
Casey’s General Stores saw total revenue for the quarter that ended January 31st hit three-point-three billion dollars, an increase of 284 million or nine percent.
Fuel sales were up three-point-seven percent, but C-E-O Darin Rebelez says the volatility in gas prices impacted overall margins.
He told investors during a conference call they ended up with a 40-cent margin on gas for the quarter.
Casey’s has convenience store locations in every part of Missouri, except the city of St. Louis.
