A man from Missouri pleads guilty to felonies stemming from January 6 U.S. Capitol riot

A man from Missouri has pleaded guilty in federal court to two felonies for his involvement in the January 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riot. 

42-year-old Cale Douglas Clayton, of Drexel, south of Kansas City, admitted to assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers. 

He was indicted by a federal grand jury on several other counts. 

Clayton is one of 25 Missourians charged in the January 6 riot. 

Eighteen have pleaded guilty so far.
