Bailey releases list of top 10 complaints received by AG’s office last year

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has released a top 10 list of consumer complaints received by the A-G’s office last year. 

Way out in front at Number One: violations of Missouri’s no-call registry by telemarketers. 

Bailey says more than 39-thousand complaints poured into the Attorney General’s office from people who received illegal calls from telemarketers, despite being on the state’s no-call list. 

In second place, complaints about home repairs, construction, and real estate. 

There were nearly 2-thousand complaints last year regarding contractors that demanded payment upfront, then didn’t show up at all, performed shoddy work, or refused to honor home warranties.
