NEO welcomes new Sodexo campus food services general manager

Drew Shemanske is the new Sodexo campus food services general manager at Northeastern A & M College (NEO) in Miami, Oklahoma.

Shemanske had assisted on-site at Sodexo’s NEO location since October and he accepted the lead role effective on January 1 of this year.

“Drew is a proven talent who has shown a strong work ethic and desire to please combined with enthusiasm and energy that can help us move forward,” said David Wilcox, Sodexo area general manager.

Shemanske began working for Sodexo as a student worker while attending Western Illinois University in 2013. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in Spanish. He has experience in retail, culinary, customer service and operations management.

Before NEO, Shemanske served as the general manager of Sodexo at Connors State College. He has worked in leadership roles with Sodexo at Oral Roberts University and Western Illinois University.

“I have worked with Drew for several years in other positions,” said Sodexo district manager Jim Huffman. “I am happy he accepted the general manager role at NEO. His knowledge of food service is expansive, and he has a high level of customer service students will appreciate.”
