Driver from Joplin seriously injured in accident near Rich Hill

A driver from Joplin seriously injured in an accident just before 2 Monday afternoon on I-49 three miles south of Rich Hill.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened when a southbound 2013 Chevrolet Express Van driven by 29-year-old Bradley S. Bryant of Joplin traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Bryant was ejected from the vehicle.

He was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
