Four men indicted in connection with two Ottawa County Jail fires
Four men in all have been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury in the Northern District of Oklahoma.
29-year-old Justin Randall Gering of Fairland, Okla. and 22-year-old Tyler Levi Davis of Miami, Okla. are charged with setting a fire in the Ottawa County Jail in Miami, on Dec.23, 2022.
The two were incarcerated in the jail at the time of the crime.
They are charged with arson of property used in an activity affecting Interstate and Foreign Commerce and damage by fire of property owned by an institution receiving federal funding.
Two other men were indicted separately for setting a June 4, 2022 fire at the Ottawa County Jail.
They are 38-year-old Phillip Verlon Logan of Wyandotte and 24-year-old David Bryson Logan of Miami.
They are accused damage by fire of property owned by an institution receiving federal funding.
