Rolla man charged with abandonment of a corpse

In Rolla, law enforcement is investigating the case of man who failed to report the death of a woman at his home for three days.

61-year-old Brian Edwards Chambers finally informed the sheriff’s office of the death by e-mail on January 17th, telling them the woman had died of a possible drug overdose.

He said he tried to save her life, even gave her the drug Narcan to try to revive her, to no avail.

Chambers is charged with abandonment of a corpse.

The body was identified to be that of 37-year-old Jessica Allen of Rolla.
