Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 30th Business EXPO this week
Joplin, MO – The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce (JACC) is excited to celebrate its 30th Annual Business EXPO on Jan. 24 and 25 at the Downstream Casino Resort Pavilion. EXPO is the region’s largest annual business showcase with nearly 110 exhibitors.
This two-day event features a business-to-business day and a business-to-consumer day and is presented by Freeman Health System and Downstream Casino Resort. This year’s theme is Find Your Treasure in Joplin: EXPO Marks the Spot. Exhibitors and attendees are encouraged to come prepared to brave the high seas in their best pirate-themed attire!
On Tuesday, Jan. 24, the exhibitors’ showcase will be open to members of the business community from 12:00 to 7:30 pm; admission is a business card. An adults-only Business After Hours will take place that evening from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, presented by Arvest Bank.
The event will feature samples from member restaurants and great networking opportunities as well as professional portraits taken by Towner Studios. There will also be contests for Talk Like a Pirate, Best Dressed, Best Use of Theme and Best Swag.
On Wednesday, Jan. 25, the exhibitors’ showcase will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Admission is $5; children five and under get in free.
