3 dead 4 injured in Springfield crash

Three dead and four others in the hospital following a 2 vehicle crash in Springfield.  

The crash was reported around one Friday morning on the James River Freeway.  

Police said the accident happened when a pickup going westbound in the eastbound lanes hit a large SUV head-on.  

Names have not been released.
