Stone County accident kills two, injures one

Two people were killed and one was left seriously injured on a crash in Stone County on Route TT, 2 miles east of Reavisville around 6:42 Saturday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred when an eastbound Ford F150 pickup driven by 33-year old Craig M. Laney of Aurora tried to pass another vehicle and struck a westbound passenger car driven by 43-year-old Rachal J. Reavis of Crane, Missouri head-on.

Reavis and a passenger in her car, 46-year-old Garrett L. Chambers of Pleasant Hill, both died in the crash.

Laney was seriously injured and was flown to a Springfield hospital.
