Woman from Carl Junction injured in Thursday-evening accident

An accident on Peace Church Road around 6:20 Thursday evening a mile south of Carl Junction resulted in injuries to a woman from that city.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a 2017 Nissan Altima driven by 52-year-old Susan L. Hubbard drove off the left side of the roadway and hit a culvert.

She received moderate injuries and was transported to a Joplin hospital.
