Minimum Wage Increases in Missouri
If you’re a minimum wage worker in Missouri, you most likely just got a raise.
Missouri’s minimum wage is now 12 dollars an hour.
That’s an 85-cent increase from what it was last week and last year.
An amendment to Missouri’s constitution ties the state’s minimum wage to the rate of inflation.
An exception exists for retail and service industry employers whose businesses earn less that 500-thousand dollars a year – they’re exempt from paying their workers the state-mandated minimum.
