Multi-vehicle accident claims life of man from Galena

A traffic accident in Galena Friday morning claimed the life of a man from that city.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says multiple vehicles were involved in a crash about a half-mile south of K-66 on South Wood Street in Galena.

The accident took place  around 9:40 a.m. on Friday  when a vehicle driven by 48-year-old Justin Holt of Joplin struck a vehicle driven by 57-year-old James Snow of Galena.

After being hit, Snow’s vehicle crossed Wood Street and hit a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Jacob Laser of Galena.
