FBI announces $10,000 reward for information leading to arrest of federal fugitives

KANSAS CITY, MO. – FBI Kansas City Special Agent in Charge Charles Dayoub announced today that the FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of each of the escaped federal fugitives Trevor Scott Sparks and Sergio Perez-Martinez.

This reward is in addition to the $5,000 amount offered by the U.S. Marshals.

Sparks and Martinez were being housed in the Cass County Missouri Jail awaiting sentencing and escaped confinement on December 5, 2022.

Sparks, 33, is described as a white male, blue eyes, 185 lbs with multiple tattoos, to include a tattoo on his abdomen that says “northeast” and full sleeves on both the arms.

He was convicted on November 7, 2022, of leading a criminal conspiracy linked to two murders, multiple violent assaults, and distribution of narcotics.

Martinez, 43 is described a hispanic male, brown eyes, 130 lbs with several tattoos. He pled guilty on July 11, 2022, to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and money laundering.

The FBI is working with our partners to locate and take into custody Sparks and Martinez.

It is not believed that the two are traveling together.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals should contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.

Members of the public are cautioned not to confront these individuals, but to contact law enforcement immediately as they should be considered armed and dangerous.
