Girard Fire Chief submits resignation

Girard is looking for a new Fire Chief.

Chief John Moutz, Jr. announced his resignation after holding the position for nine years.

Mountz cited issues with city management in his resignation letter.

Moutz said he was “heartbroken” about the decision to resign.

His last day on the job will be December 6th.
