Sarcoxie man killed in two-vehicle accident

A 20-year-old man from Sarcoxie was killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Highway 37 at the intersection of County Road 60 when the vehicle Emmanuel I. Lovell was driving pulled into the path of a pickup truck.

Lovell was pronounced dead at the scene.

19-year-old Eden Sims, also of Sarcoxie, was a passenger in Lovell’s vehicle. She suffered moderate injuries.

The crash report says the driver of the truck was not hurt.
