Oklahoma man charged with multiple violations of federal laws
A man from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma is charged with multiple violations of United States law in indictments returned by a Grand Jury in the Northern District of Oklahoma this week.
43-year-old Christopher Scott Royce is charged with being a Felon in Possession of Firearms and Ammunition; Drug Conspiracy; Maintaining a Drug-Involved Premises; Possession of Child Pornography (2nd superseding).
Federal authorities say Royce was found in possession of a Marlin, 30/30 caliber lever-action rifle; a Mauser bolt-action rifle; an Iver Johnson .22 caliber bolt-action rifle; a Ruger .22 caliber revolver; a Ruger .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol; a Taurus .22 caliber pistol and 22 rounds of ammunition.
He previously was convicted of six felonies, including three crimes of violence.
He is further charged aiding and abetting another individual with using and maintaining a place in Broken Arrow for the purpose of distributing an illicit drug.
Finally, he is charged with possessing child sexual abuse material.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Broken Arrow Police Department are the investigative agencies.
Assistant U.S. Attorney David A. Nasar is prosecuting the case.
