RSV Spreading in Missouri
The virus known as R-S-V is back.
The respiratory virus is often found in babies this time of year.
It is similar to the common cold, but it can cause pneumonia and bronchitis.
Symptoms of R-S-V include difficulty breathing, dry cough, congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, loss of appetite, tiredness or lethargy, fever, and chills.
There’s no specific vaccine for R-S-V, but the Missouri Department of Health recommends getting both a flu shot and COVID vaccines to safeguard your health.
