Motorcycle rider killed in crash outside of Springfield
A motorcycle rider has died in a highway crash on a roadway outside of Springfield.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 56-year-old Bryon K. Rochau of Springfield was killed.
The wreck occurred on Route H, 3 miles south of Pleasant Hope.
According to the patrol, Rochau lost control of his cycle while passing several vehicles.
He traveled off the roadway and crashed. He later died at a Springfield hospital.
