No trial for woman accused of killing elderly Grove resident

There will be no trial for 55-year-old Kellie Lee Crawford of Grove.

She was charged in U.S. District Court in Tulsa with killing 69-year-old Grove resident Richard Strade in September 2021.

On October 25, Crawford was found incompetent to stand trial for first degree murder.

Crawford reportedly suffers from schizophrenia spectrum disorders and other conditions that the court feels makes her unable to participate in her defense.

The Court now will enter an order for her care and treatment.
